Alongside Andy, whose energy and explosiveness naturally draw attention on the court, Véro’s contribution should never be underestimated. Her consistency, composure, and strong presence in important moments have been at the heart of their team. Two different personalities and playing styles that have complemented each other perfectly over the past six years.

An Athlete Who Combined Performance and Fun

Over the years, her mental performance coach, Stéphane Lemieux, has had the privilege of supporting Véro and watching her grow, develop, and push herself, both as an athlete and as a person.

Her journey is proof that performance and enjoyment can truly go hand in hand. Véro has always taken every aspect of her preparation seriously, whether physical, technical, tactical, or mental, without ever losing the joy that defines her.

“Her work ethic, her joy for the game, and her cheerful personality have always been some of her greatest strengths, both on and off the court.”

— Stéphane Lemieux, Mental Performance Coach

From Mentor to Partner

Véro’s impact on Andrea goes far beyond the results they achieved together. From the early days of their partnership, Véro became an inspiring mentor and had a profound influence on the athlete Andrea would become.

“Her extraordinary competitiveness, the genuine joy she gets from playing this sport, and the gratitude she constantly feels for being able to do what she loves are values that have deeply shaped the athlete I am today. They are also at the heart of the exceptional person she is.”

— Andrea

Six years later, their journey together reflects not only how well they complemented each other on the court, but also the relationship they built through volleyball.

An Exceptional Hardriven Ambassador

For Hardriven, Véro’s impact extends far beyond the court. She has been an incredible ambassador, always proud to represent us, share her ideas, and help us continue to improve.

But perhaps what makes Véro most special is the way she experiences every moment. She has that rare ability to make every experience feel special and to share her enthusiasm with everyone around her.

An incredible competitor, teammate, and ambassador, but above all, the kind of person everyone would want to have around them.

Véro’s Classics

It would be impossible to look back on all these years without sharing a few phrases that perfectly capture Véro, her personality, and the way she approaches competition:

“The important thing is to look good.”

“One match at a time.”

“Let’s get back to basics.”

“No pressure, we’re playing for fun! And to win. And most importantly, to look good.”

Thank You, Véro

From the entire Hardriven family, thank you, Véro. Thank you for representing us with so much pride, for your trust, your ideas, your involvement, and all the moments we’ve shared together. But most importantly, thank you for being exactly who you are. Your energy, gratitude, authenticity, and ability to make every moment feel special are truly unique.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of your competitive journey, and while this chapter may be coming to an end, our partnership is only going to keep evolving. 🌴
