Guillaume Rivest and Jacob Van Geel: a powerful new duo for summer 2025

Both of their previous partners having shifted toward indoor volleyball, Guillaume Rivest and Jacob Van Geel decided to team up for the 2025 beach volleyball season. After years of training and competing against each other in Toronto, the two athletes—driven by common goals and a strong connection on and off the court—naturally chose to join forces.

With Guillaume training full-time in Toronto and Jacob playing professionally in the Czech Republic with Kladno, their paths aligned just a few weeks ago as they reunited to kick off their summer season together.

For Hardriven, continuing our collaboration with Guillaume was a clear choice. And this summer, that includes welcoming Jacob into the family. We’re excited to support them both as they take on this new chapter together.
